Built in 1923, the Clubhouse quickly became the place to be in Kimberly. Inside you’d find meeting rooms, a soda fountain, a gym with locker rooms, a stage, and a library—basically everything a busy village could want. It hosted movies, scout meetings, dances, card games, concerts, plays, weddings, basketball games… even archery classes. If it brought people together, it probably happened here.

In 1930, Kimberly-Clark added an outdoor swimming pool, proudly called one of the nicest in Wisconsin. With two low boards, a ten-foot diving tower, and water up to nine feet deep, it became a summer hotspot. (The photos shown are from 1950!)

Through it all, Kimberly-Clark and the Village of Kimberly shared a close bond. The mill may be gone, but the Clubhouse still stands as a reminder of simpler days—when neighbors worked, played, and made memories side by side.
